About

The Nafran Valley has Kashmir's most pure alpine lakes. However, Nafran Valley has more to offer than only Kashmir's alpine lakes. We may wager that you are not in the Nafran Valley if you think that the Great Lakes of Kashmir and Tarsar Marsar are the two most crystal-clear alpine lakes in Kashmir. The Kolahoi Glacier supplies the Nafran Valley throughout the year, bringing lush green grassland and flowering flowers in a variety of vibrant hues, including red, blue, violet, purple, white, and yellow, to the valley's meadows from July through September. When the snow melts in early July to reveal the Kashmir silk carpets beneath, the meadows of Nafran Valley are the most stunning of all the Kashmiri meadows in comparison to Sonamarg, the Golden Meadow of Kashmir, and Gulmarg. The Nafran Valley's geography makes it possible to go quickly to Kashmir's turquoise-blue lake and fully experience God's wonderful creation. This expansive meadow, which is bigger than the Lidderwat of Tarsar Marsar and Satsar of the Kashmir Great Lakes, is where you'll set your tent. Locals in Kashmir will make special treats for you using native foods like Kashmiri Haak (a green leafy vegetable) and Kashmiri Pickle. This little hike in Kashmir provides the best opportunity to see the Kolahoi Glacier, which, like the Gaumukh Glacier, adds to the splendour of this alpine lake. The Harbhagwan Lake and the Harnag Lake, two alpine lakes, are part of this seven-day journey in Kashmir. When the sun's rays pass across these lakes, they sparkle. The Harnag Lake is the ideal location for astrophotography lovers at night since it reflects the galaxy and millions of stars. The shepherd armies that reside there temporarily from June to October in mud homes before descending to lower elevations during the winter inhabit the meadows of Nafran. One of Kashmir's simpler hikes is the Nafran Valley walk, which passes through rushing streams, unspoiled pine forests, and, most importantly, lovely meadows.
