Joshimath is a well-known basecamp for many famous trails such as the valley of flowers, Hemkund sahib, Badrinath, etc. We will be starting the day really early because the drive is quite long today. You will drive through the city of Rishikesh. And will also come across the famous Alaknanda confluence. By evening you will reach Joshimath. Overnight stay at guest house.

Trail: 30 mins drive and 6 KM trek. Campsite: Guling The highlight of the day: Guling top Trek: Day 2 we will start after breakfast. We will be heading toward Dhak village and it will be 30 mins drive. From Dhak village, the main trail begins. The trail is stone paved, steady, and gradual. You will be crossing Kharchi village, Upper Tugashi, and Lower Tugashi where you can witness the traditional livelihood. The entire trail takes you to Nanda Devi Park. At the last part of the trail, there is a gradual incline. After that, you reach Guling campsite. Also, from the Guling top you can get a panoramic view of the Gharwal range. Overnight stay at Guling campsite.

Trail: 5 KM trek (3 hours) Campsite: Khullara The highlight of the day: Khullara camping ground and views. Trek: Day 3, we will start by 9 am after breakfast. It is going to be a short day. After 5 mins of the trek, we will enter the deep forest area. You will come across Himalayan Birch. Today?s terrain has a little gradual incline. Even in the month of April, you might find trails filled with snow. Even Khullara camp is surrounded by snow too. We will just hand around today and take a rest for the next summit day. Overnight stay at Khullara campsite.

Trail: 14 KM trek (12-16 hours) Campsite: Khullara The highlight of the day: Pangarchulla Summit Peak Trek: Day 4 is the longest and most massive final push for the summit. We will start at 3 am. Since it will be the longest day, we suggest carrying enough water to stay hydrated. There will be a gradual incline and the terrain will get steep too. You will also cross the meadows and stone temple of kauri pass in dark only. Once you reach the ridgeline, it starts getting more challenging. Around 7:30 am the boulder crossing will be done, it's the hardest. After that from the bottom of the peak, it's a very steep climb. Especially, this last section will take 2-3 hours to climb. After that, you will be summiting. Relax a bit and soak into the beauty of the Garhwal Himalayas after the arduous climb. After that, we will start our descent which will take a lot of effort as well. Overnight stay at Khullara campsite.

Trail: 12 KM trek (3-4 hours) & 30 mins drive Campsite: Joshimath The highlight of the day: Explore Joshimath and try traditional food. Trek: Day 5 is very easy and not small. Right after breakfast, we will leave at 9 am. We will start the descent. And make it to our first campsite at Dhak. from Dhak we will board our vehicle and move towards Joshimath. You will have almost more than half of the day to explore Joshimath. Overnight stay at Joshimath guest house.

Trail: 10-hour drive Campsite: Back to Dehradun The highlight of the day: Explore the nightlife and cafes at Dehradun. Today is the last day, we will leave early in the morning so that we can reach Dehradun. We will have almost 10 hours of drive from Joshimath to Dehradun. Once we reach Dehradun you can either depart for your respective cities or explore Dehradun according to your choice.
